I attempted to dis assemble the Tern and get it into a small package to board a plane, and I failed. I was planning on wrapping it with a tarp, which in retrospect is a terrible idea and TSA would never allow it.
Anyways wrapping the Tern Link D8 into a small package does not work. I did learn how the bike is put together which was an interesting exercise.
The cardboard somehow made sense to me at the time.
