First thoughts on the Tern Link D8

This weekend I got the chance to try out a Tern Link D8 for, my impressions are as follows.

• This thing can move! 
• I outpaced my friend on a Cyclo-Cross bike a Kona Jake the Snake, on both straight a ways and on some up hills.
• It's fun to ride, I went on a few joy rides just for the fun of it.

It's not as small as I thought it might be, but still awesome.

I am currently looking to buy one. As of right now 10/28/13 the bikes are $650 in Austin, TX.

I rented my bike from AmpfliedAustin.com. They have a small fleet of the bikes and I was luck enough to get use one. the price for one day is $35 and it includes a helmet and a lock.
